Understanding ecstasy

An ek’stasis (or ec’stasis), therefore an ecstasy, happens

1.             By changing (and which includes increasing) a stand/state; for instance, by becoming (or accessing) another state. That happens when a particular (i.e. relative) self (i.e. a relative differential) changes (i.e. transcends) from one (steady) state (i.e. from one unit of identity) to another steady state (i.e. either by expansion or alteration), for instance by adding (i.e. fusing with new) self-bits. At fusion, the self may achieve either

1.   relative acceleration (increase of energy), self represented as joy

2.   or relative deceleration (i.e. decrease of energy), self-represented as sorrow.

2.             By reducing a (i.e. some, i.e. any) particular (i.e. the relative) stand/state. By eliminating (i.e. escending) part of itself, i.e. by contracting its boundary, the self releases (i.e. fissions off) the (relative) speed (read: energy) locked into the self-bit which has been eliminated. At fission, the self may experience either

1.   relative acceleration (increase of energy), self represented as joy

2.   or relative deceleration (i.e. decrease of energy), self-represented as sorrow.

3.             Mystic escendence (rather than transcendence) ecstasy happens

By (almost) completely relinquishing (i.e. reducing to nil, hence voiding, getting out of) a stand/state (i.e. the elimination of all relativity). That happens when a self eliminates all difference, that is to say, it self eliminates, thereby releasing all the speed (or energy) stored in all its self-bits. In short, such an escendent ecstasy (called mystic ecstasy) happens when an individual completely relinquishes the self (or simulates complete relinquishment of the self, i.e. hence of the relative). As long as a bit of self remains, then the mystic ecstasy is transcendent.

When that happens, the mystic ‘experiences’ speed (or energy) without boundary (hence all pervading presence or non-presence), hence the absolute (c or constant) prior to relativity (i.e. selfhood). Upon re-accessing (i.e. re-entering) the initial self-bits, the vastly increased speed/energy (now slightly diminished by initial self-drag) is interpreted either

1.   as absolute (i.e. @c) acceleration (i.e. as total energy), self represented as ecstatic (because overwhelming) rapture (joy or bliss).

2.   or as absolute (i.e. @c) deceleration (i.e. as total lack of energy), self-represented as ecstatic (because overwhelming) sorrow (unhappiness or misery).

In short, whether or not an ecstasy (i.e. a getting out of a state) is experienced as joyful (read: positive) or sorrowful (read: negative) depends on whether or not it results in acceleration (increased energy, i.e. elation) or deceleration (decreased energy, i.e. depression). The bi-polar affect of ecstasy is rarely reported by pilgrims, nor, indeed, by mystics. About 10% of the female population regularly experience pos. and neg. ecstasy to such an intensity (and duration) that they require medication.
