The Inner Game of Ecstasy

For ‘inner’ read: basic, ground (platform), the principle and so on.

Hence for ‘outer’ read: elaborated, surface, applied as local fact.

For ‘game’ read: function, program, operation or operating procedure (or system).

Understanding the Inner Game of Ecstasy means understanding the basics, i.e. principles of attaining ecstasy.

The Inner Game (read: pilgrimage) of (attaining) ecstasy is as simple to understand as the Inner Game of Golf. Playing (i.e. applying) the actual game of ecstasy is as difficult as is that of playing golf.

There are three basic ecstasies, namely a’stasy (i.e. instability, i.e. experienced as being ‘in bits’), en’stasy (i.e. stability (i.e. experienced as being a bit, i.e. whole and complete, fulfilled) and ecstasy proper (i.e. experienced as being a different, i.e. unique, hence original whole and complete bit).

The pay-off of attaining ecstasy, that is to say, the reward as joyful experience (i.e. making real of) of otherness, to wit, getting to eat the carrot, happens when astasy becomes enstasy, and when enstasy becomes ecstasy proper.

The (triple) pay-off of not attaining ecstasy, that is to say, punishment as sorrowful (or painful) lack of the experience (i.e. of making real) of otherness, to wit, getting the stick, happens when neither enstasy nor ecstasy are attained. Sorrowful (or negative) ecstasy happens when enstasy or ecstasy decay into (or remaining in) astasy.
